Packing Service

When our Wiltshire packing service is chosen by our customer, we generally send our teams in the day before you move out, to complete this service, depending on the size of the move.

You can leave your property as it is and we will pack everything as we see it. It’s always best to tidy up & clear out any unwanted items in cupboards and drawers before we arrive or these items just get packed and move to your new property.

Our teams will then go room by room packing & wrapping your belongings into our boxes, labelling then as we pack with a brief description of the room where it was packed, and the contents. For example: Kitchen- pots and pans or lounge ornaments.

If items are breakable they will be wrapped in tissue paper and the box clearly marked, whereas non-breakable belongings will just be placed in boxes and again clearly marked up.

All of the usual local areas and towns such as Melksham of course, Corsham, Chippenham, Trowbridge, Bradford On Avon, Calne, Atworth, Broughton Gifford, Seend, Hilperton….We are happy to come out and see you if you live within a ten mile radius of Melksham. BEFORE YOU MOVE

We can do as much or as little as you require to suit your budget, but you will need to help yourselves before the removal takes place. As you will find out, the whole moving process can take weeks or months, but this gives you valuable time to do some preparation.

  • Pack, tidy, clear out the loft contents
  • Tidy and clear out the shed and garage contents
  • Go through cupboards and drawers to dispose of unwanted items.
  • Tidy and clear the garden area. Sort out pots and tubs you wish to take.

These are jobs that get put off but they take a long time and won’t interfere with the day to day running of your household.

I believe it best that you do a little preparation in advance and treat it like you are going away for the weekend. So get together an overnight bag with clothes, toiletries, medicines, and important paperwork etc. From experience customers generally need a box from the kitchen with essentials too (ie cleaning materials, tea, coffee & cups).
